Diana to join Spring Break tour

Diana will reunite with Chikezie, David Hernandez and Kimberley Locke for another "American Stars in Concert" series tour, this time for spring break instead of Christmas.

Only two dates have been made public as of now, including Wed., April 15 at the Hanover Theater in Worcester, Mass., and Sat., April 18 at the Keswick Theater in Glenside, Pa. It will again be orchestrated by Idol music director Michael Orland.

Per the Hanover's Web site, this is the basis of the tour:

American Stars in Concert, featuring American Idol Stars Diana DeGarmo, Chikezie Eze, Kimberly Locke, and David Hernandez come together for The Spring Break Tour!

This brand new production, with musical direction by American Idol’s own Michael Orland, is a great way to see and hear the brightest Idol stars from seasons past, up close and personal in an intimate theatrical setting.

Relive your favorite Idol moments as these talented young artists perform the songs that catapulted them into national stardom, as well as a new selection of all-time hits. This is one reunion not to be missed - IDOLS IN CONCERT!

Diana to star in Texas production of 'Oz the Musical'

According to an article today published by Playbill.com, Diana will star as Dorothy in the Texas tour of Oz the Musical beginning Thurs., Feb. 5 at the Abilene Civic Center in Abilene. The show will be directed by Todrick D. Hall, whose previous credentials include Oprah's Broadway production of The Color Purple.

Josie's "Birthday Bash for a Cure" set for Jan. 26

Diana is slated to take the stage at Josie's "Birthday Bash for a Cure" on Mon., Jan. 26, amongst a host of other Nashville country musicians. The event, which will take place at The Rutledge on 410 4th Ave. South at 6 p.m. in Nashville, Tenn. All proceeds from the event, which costs $10 per admission (restricted to patrons 18 and older), will benefit The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Other artists that are set to appear include Blake Davis, Ty Herndon and Glen Mitchell.
