Diana currently has three events scheduled for the month of September and one event in October. She is confirmed to be performing at two of them, including the 63rd annual Ledyard Fair and Nashville's Exit In.
>63rd Annual Ledyard Fair (Sat., Sept. 6)
Diana performs a three-song set at the Ledyard Fair in Ledyard, Conn., in addition to fellow former Idol finalists Justin Guarini (Season 1) and Chris Sligh (Season 6). The concert begins at 2 p.m. and will be followed by a meet and greet.
>Showcase at Exit In (Wed., Sept. 17)
Diana performs a mini-showcase at Nashville's Exit In live music venue at 8 p.m. The concert is for patrons aged 18 and up.
>Roy's Restaurant's 20th anniversary (Tues., Sept. 23)
Diana judges a cook-off between three guest chefs and three culinary students at Roy's in Atlanta in celebration of the restaurant's 20th anniversary beginning at 8 p.m. There will be Hawaiian entertainment during the celebration.
>NSU golf tournament (Mon., Oct. 6)
Diana caddies in a charity golf tournament hosted by Nashville State University. It will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will be held at the Temple Hills Club golf course in Franklin, Tenn.

Diana auditions for FOX's 'Glee'
Following the unexpected indefinite postponement of the Broadway revival of Godspell, Diana turned to the possibility of acting in another medium: television. An audition by Diana for the upcoming FOX comedy series Glee was made public on YouTube yesterday.
In the audition, Diana reads lines for the character of Rachel Barry for four scenes and sings snippets from three songs including "Bless the Lord" from Godspell, Heart's "I Didn't Want to Need You" and a song that may appear on Diana's upcoming country album called "Pieces." The series revolves around the drama that fills the lives of members of high school glee clubs. Watch the audition below:
There is no word yet on whether or not Glee will be picked up as a series, although a pilot has been ordered.

Diana in John Rich's "Raisin' McCain" video
Diana can be seen in John Rich's new music video for "Raisin' McCain," a song he wrote in support of republican presidential candidate John McCain. In addition to Diana, MuzikMafia members like Shanna Crooks and Two Foot Fred can be seen dancing in the video. Watch it below:
Although Rich is an outspoken supporter of McCain, Diana has not publicly stated whom she will be supporting for the presidential election.

'Godspell' canceled
As reported by The New York Post early this morning, the Broadway revival of the musical Godspell, which Diana was slated to star in, has been pulled due to financial woes. Per the Post:
"Sources say producer Adam Epstein was short $1 million of the production's $4.5 million cost."Rumors that began swirling a few days ago were strengthened when Variety reported yesterday that there was talk of the show's failure to secure funds for the production.
Diana will also no longer be performing with cast mates at "Broadway in Bryant Park," which they were supposed to partake in tomorrow. There is no word yet on what Diana will be doing for the upcoming months in lieu of rehearsals for the show.

Four new songs revealed
Diana premiered four new songs this week that she has been working on for her upcoming country release. On Mon., Aug. 4, Diana premiered three new songs at the Tin Roof nightclub in Nashville, all of which she co-wrote - "Kiss Me," "Find Me" and "You're Lovin' Her," as she outlined in the following MySpace bulletin:
To those who came to my show at Tin Roof Monday evening. I know a lot of you were curious as to the name of the songs I did.Diana premiered another new song the following night at Nashville's Dan McGuinness, an Irish pub. The song titled "Yesterday's Makeup" will be on her album, but she did not write it.

Preview of Aug. 4-10 events
Diana will make three appearances in the Nashville area from Aug. 4-10, beginning tomorrow with a concert at the Tin Roof nightclub. Below is a rundown of Diana's upcoming events:
>Concert at Tin Roof (Mon., Aug. 4)
Diana performs a free concert at the Tin Roof in Nashville along with other singers and songwriters. The event, which is hosted by Blake Davis, begins at 7 p.m. and Diana confirms that she will be performing "a bunch of new songs" that she wrote.
>Concert at Dan McGuinness (Tues., Aug. 5)
Diana performs two new songs at the Dan McGuinness Irish pub in Nashville in another free concert at 8 p.m. Other artists joining her include Blake Davis, Grant Fisher, Josh Green, Jennifer Paige, Todd Taylor and Bruce Wallace.
>Red Boiling Springs Festival (Sun., Aug. 10)
In protest of the high gas prices plaguing the nation, Diana will ride a tractor in a parade of tractors through downtown Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., at 2 p.m., followed by a Southern potluck meal at 3 p.m. and a concert with Ronnie McDowell and Craig Campbell at 4 p.m. A long, fun filled (and free) day.
