Diana talks with Ok magazine

Diana was recently interviewed by Ok! magazine, which was published on the magazine's Web site on April 21. In the interview, Diana said when she was younger, she used to tell her mother that if she could live anywhere besides Atlanta, it would be Nashville.

She also talked about her plans to celebrate her 21st birthday in Las Vegas with friends, and a trip to Dollywood this summer. Diana also said she hangs out with fellow Idol alum Bo Bice at the NASCAR track, and gave her two cents on the current season of American Idol, saying she has a "soft spot" for 17-year-old David Archuleta:

"David Archuleta is holding it down for the young kids this season. He's so, so talented and he's adorable and he's got an amazing voice. I think it's a no-brainer that he's going to get far."
Diana also thinks rocker David Cook will make it far in the competition. As for her upcoming country album, she again confirmed that she will be recording tracks beginning at the end of this week.

Diana back in control of her MySpace

Diana re-assumed control over her MySpace last week, and posted a new blog entry on Sun., April 20. In the blog, she let fans know that she is currently in the process of changing the MySpace in anticipation of her career in country music, and said those who pose as her on fake MySpace pages are "kind of creepy."

Diana also said she's happier now that she's in Nashville and pursuing country music.

I know it's been kind of hard for some of y'all to grasp my musical change. I just came back to where I began. God has brought me full circle and I believe I have found my permanent home for good. He truly works in mysterious ways!
The recent activity on the page is the first in a few months, after the page was abandoned by Diana's former management.

More of Diana's interview with Terry Morrow at Dollywood

More from Diana's interview with KnoxNews.com's Terry Morrow was published in an article on Thursday. The interview, which took place at Dollywood, covered topics including Diana's predictions for the seventh season of American Idol and Diana's career in country music. Diana mostly talked about Idol in the published article, and she talked of how it feels to watch the show again.

"I can't pick between people, and I know what it's like to be in their shoes. To know another artist is voting for someone else is hard. I would not want to do that to anyone on the show."

Diana also said when she entered the auditions, she did not think she would make it far, and that she thinks producers were looking for "an African-American R&B female" on her season.

Diana recaps 'American Idol' for Us Weekly

Diana recapped the Top 9 performances on April 1 for Us Weekly's Web site, UsMagazine.com. Below is a portion of her analysis.

Jason Castro - “Travelin' Thru”
It’s so nice to see another side of Mr. Castro with his song choice. I’m glad he picked something with a little groove to it. He has a very cool vibe about him, but he needs to keep stepping out of that box a little more each week.

Carly Smithson - “Here You Come Again”
Carly blew it out of the water for me. I was really impressed by how she slowed the song down and really showed off her vocals. She was of one of my favorite performances of the night.
